The largest of all umbrellas with 9 rush ribs, manufactured by hand in Aurillac.
The secret behind the manufacture of the Shepherd's Umbrella is handed down from generation to generation. With its 9 bamboo ribs, the Shepherd's umbrella is one of the largest umbrellas, which makes it ideal for trips to the seaside or walks in the countryside or the mountains.
It is always assembled by hand using rush stalks. Four hours are necessary to complete a shepherd's umbrella.
Shepherds in the Pyrénées always buy their umbrellas from Maison Piganiol.
A shoulder sheath is available for this umbrella. It is ideal for carrying it on your shoulder when out walking.

A few golden rules to follow to keep your umbrella as long as possible:
- Always let it dry open
- Keep it away from sunlight (don't put it on the back of the car for example)
- Clean it with simple products such as soap and water. With time it is possible that the cloth stains, we advise you against too aggressive products, bleach and others are to be proscribed, because they damage the fiber of the fabric and weaken the canvas. It is preferable to use textile stain remover.
- Fold it properly when not in use and store it in the shipping pouch provided with the purchase

La façon, la qualité des matériaux, la taille et l'esthétique, tout est parfait. Un tout petit bémol est son poids, mais j'admets qu'il est difficile de le changer au vu de la qualité des matériaux.
